Meet the team

A small crew that has, in some cases, been here for decades. They treat your pet the way they treat their own.

I treat every pet like the soul dog or cat they are and every client like my friend — and yes, I'll throw in a hug or a laugh if you need one. Forever a mom to anyone in need, humans or fur kids, I keep the front desk lively and my coworkers cracking up. I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, good food, and being an ally to our community.

Kerry: I love all my boys, the gym, my job, and your bull terrier. Your other pets too. — Rachael: I started with Spay and Neuter in 2006 and came back in 2020. I have an associate's degree in animal science and applied technology, and I love working with animals more than anything. I live at home with my boyfriend, our four cats, and our parrot, and I spend my free time at horror movies and concerts.

Macy

Customer Service Representative

Hello, my name is Macy and I grew up with all types of animals — scaled, furred, and feathered. My dream is to be a vet for large and small animals. I spent 2.5 years at a doggie daycare before joining the clinic, and I can't wait to meet your fur babies!

Devin with his cat supervisor

Devin

Customer Service Representative (Remote)

Devin has worked for Spay & Neuter of SLC on and off since the summer of 1996, when he helped put together the kennels for the very first office at age 13. He has been a technician and office manager of our full-service clinic, and came back after an eight-year career as an LMT on the promise he would never be put in charge of staff again. Lil Bit is his immediate supervisor and watches him work from his shoulder.
